LASO has been producing spare parts for cars, buses and trucks in Olpe, Germany for over 40 years. Craftsmanship and modern production lines are the key to highest quality and precision. As a niche player, LASO focuses on sophisticated engine components such as oil and water pumps. We produce primarily for European trucks and cars. Our philosophy is to produce a range of products for a broad selection of makes – in a quality which is just as good as the original, from “A” for Audi to “V” for Volvo.

The synergy and interaction of all team members and the use of the latest technologies throughout the production process ensures an optimal production result. Experienced personnel works from the development up to the finished product with CAD (Computer Aided Design), CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) and CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing). The modern CNC production lines used by LASO ensure precise machining of the highest level – Quality Made in Germany.

All CNC-machines (Computer Numerical Controlled) are programmed through a central computer. Parts can be machined horizontally or vertically without retooling. No matter how difficult the task or how special the application - we can thus deliver fast and at a reasonable price. An overwhelming majority of our tools and manufacturing processes are developed in-house by LASO to live up to the high international requirements. We thus achieve a consistent quality which is the key to our success.

Quality is our top priority

Computer aided systems of the latest generation ensure that our products always meet the highest standards. LASO is not only oriented to the renowned manufacturers in terms of product quality. We also analyse how the OEMs achieve their high quality standards. The quality of the original equipment manufacturers is our only benchmark. Our quality management therefore always uses up-to-date technology. With our Computer Aided Quality Assurance (CAQ) we permanently check the contouring accuracy, material quality and surface finishes. For LASO, permanent quality checks mean that the production will only proceed if every single step has successfully passed the controls in place. Purchased parts are subject to the same thorough testing before they are cleared for further processing. All LASO components are tested for functionality which means that you can rely completely on the quality of our products. Costly product recalls are not part of our business philosophy. LASO means „Made in Germany“ and produces only in Germany. Focussed production leads to precision machining at the highest levels.
